RBLR 1000miles in 24hrs
The 18th June 2011 will see Bruce enter the famous ‘Iron Butt Race’ as part of the ‘Royal British Legion Riders Branch’ (RBLR) 1000 miles in 24 hours.
This event sees riders take on the challenge of riding their motorbikes a minimum distance of 1000 miles in less than 24hrs. There are 4 designated routes – clockwise & anti-clockwise North, & clockwise & anti-clockwise South.
Bruce will be taking on the Southern clockwise route. This will see him start at Squires Cafe in Leeds, then ride to:
- Dover,
- Southampton,
- Redruth,
- Telford,
- Manchester,
then back to Squires Cafe, hopefully within the 24hr deadline!
This is the Route:
