The Night Before The Start – Again
You know how I said I’d have the final vid from the 1st trip online by tonight? Failed that one, sorry!
Way too much to do before the off tomorrow but I’ve got a few ‘spare’ days next week inbetween Scotland and picking up the Russian and Mongolian visas in London, so I’ll get it done then. Nearly there, just needs to be tarted up a tad.
Nearly ready for the off tomorrow, small manner of packing for a year away…… and packing VERY lightly. The ‘Track Me‘ GPS tracker will be live on the website at 6am tomorrow morning (9th May 2013) so you’ll be able to follow the journey just as before. If I look like I’m coming your way feel free to get in touch via email, facebook, or twitter and hopefully we can meet up for a brew and a natter.
Folks I’m really after as much involvement as possible on the trip, let me know places to visit, things to do, people to see along the way. I’ll welcome all suggestions so get in touch, let’s hear you.
Right best get packing, see you on the road.

Cheers Ray,
Great to see you again mate and thanks for meeting up on the 1st day. Sorry it’s taken so long to reply, been a hectic first 4 days, but brilliant to be back on the road again.
Gutted we couldn’t do Nordkapp as planned, but I’ll take loads of pics and vid for ya.
Say hi to the family, and I’ll see you on the road soon.

Hi
No Africa!!
I know you had a rough time last time, but you did pick a difficult route through the worst parts! Not all of Africa is like that, try attacking it from the South its much more civilised, welcoming and friendly!
Good luck with your trip.

Hi Guys,
Ha, yep no Africa this time, I’ve decided to get the rest of the trip done first, and I can think about tackling Africa later. We’ll see!

Thanks Brendan, great to hear from you and glad you liked the vids. It was a ‘learning experience’ that first attempt, feels completely different this time. Loving it.
