Happy New Year 2011
Just a quickie to wish all our followers a very Happy New Year for 2011.
With just under 2yrs to go before Bruce set’s off on this mammoth adventure, 2011 is set to be a busy year. We begin the long hard drive for corporate sponsorship, as well as begin our fundraising events in Ernest.
Events for 2011
So far we have some really exciting events lined up to raise funds for TeapotOne. The Born Free Foundation have kindly invited us to their annual charity ball at The Savoy in London in June. We’ll have a stall set up with the bike on show for all to see. We’ll be holding a charity raffle with loads of great prizes on offer for the lucky participants. If you’d like to donate a prize please contact us to discuss how we can help your business. The Born Free ball is attended by a host of international celebs and is a veritable who’s-who of society. The exposure your company or product will get, just through this ball alone, is priceless! Contact Us to discuss this invaluable opportunity.
June 18th-19th will see us enter a team in the Royal British Legion Riders Branch enduro – the RBLR 1000. That’s 1000 miles to be completed in 24hrs, a mere walk in the park compared with Bruce’s final journey of 100,000 miles in about a year!
Summer 2011 will also see the TeapotOne crew participating in the 3-peaks challenge. The 3 highest peaks in Scotland, Wales and England, all tamed within 24hrs. Stay tuned for details on how to sponsor us.
November 2011 will see us once again don the running gear (and gloves) for the Puma Hell Runner South. Almost 12 miles of cross-country hell, mixed with water traps and the infamous ‘Bog_of-Doom!’ We’ll want your money for this one too, so stay tuned and get saving!
